Adam Malone is a principal partner of Malone Law and has helped victims and families throughout Georgia with cases involving catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He recently obtained a record-setting jury verdict of $24,529,286.00 to compensate a 14 year-old athlete for the unnecessary and preventable amputation of his right leg. The trial took place in Adam's hometown of Albany, Georgia, where the jury returned the largest monetary verdict in Dougherty County history.
In addition to his success in the courtroom, Adam has obtained many multi-million dollar pre-trial settlements on behalf of his clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries or lost loved ones from the negligence or wrongdoing of others. Adam is board-certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys (ABPLA) in the complex field of Medical Professional Negligence. The American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys is the official certifying body sanctioned by the American Bar Association for certification of competency in handling professional negligence cases.
Adam also serves in various leadership capacities with the State Bar of Georgia and holds office in several nationwide legal organizations. He is currently the President of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, an invitation-only organization of elite trial attorneys. Adam is also on the Board of Governors for the prestigious Melvin M. Belli Society, a charitable organization that promotes the study of law by funding research, conducting lectures, seminars, and publishing legal articles. He also proudly serves as an officer in the Professional Negligence Section of the American Association for Justice.
Adam is a summa cum laude graduate of John Marshall Law school, and was valedictorian of his class. Prior to joining his father in the practice of law, he clerked for the Honorable G. Alan Blackburn of the Georgia Court of Appeals and was a prosecutor in the Clayton County District Attorney's Office. Adam resides in Atlanta with his wife, Barbara, and their three children, Madeleine, Emilie and Rosser.
